וְאָמְר֞וּ אֶל־זִקְנֵ֣י עִיר֗וֹ בְּנֵ֤נוּ זֶה֙ סוֹרֵ֣ר וּמֹרֶ֔ה אֵינֶ֥נּוּ שֹׁמֵ֖עַ בְּקֹלֵ֑נוּ זוֹלֵ֖ל וְסֹבֵֽא׃

And they shall say to the elders of his city: This son of ours is wayward and rebellious; he does not listen to our voice; he is a glutton and a drunkard.

בְּנֵנוּ זֶה – זֶה וְלֹא סוּמָא.

English: “This son of ours” — this one, and not a blind son.

On the daf / in context: The parents must be able to point to the son. A blind son (or other conditions that prevent proper identification) is excluded.
