לֹא־תֹאכַ֤ל עָלָיו֙ חָמֵ֔ץ שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִ֛ים תֹּֽאכַל־עָלָ֥יו מַצּ֖וֹת לֶ֣חֶם עֹ֑נִי כִּ֣י בְחִפָּז֗וֹן יָצָ֙אתָ֙ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם לְמַ֣עַן תִּזְכֹּר֔ אֶת־י֤וֹם צֵאתְךָ֙ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם כֹּ֖ל יְמֵ֥י חַיֶּֽיךָ׃
You shall not eat leaven with it; seven days you shall eat with it matzos, the bread of affliction, for in haste you went out of the land of Egypt, in order that you may remember the day of your going out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life.

לֶחֶם עֹנִי – פְּרָט לַחָלוּט וְלָאֲשִׁישָׁה דְּלָאו לֶחֶם עֹנִי הוּא.
English: "Bread of affliction" — excluding scalded dough and a large cake, which are not bread of affliction.
On the daf / in context: Elaborate or specially prepared forms of unleavened bread do not qualify as the simple "bread of poverty."

Derash on the verse (Pesachim) — elaborate unleavened bread is excluded.
What Is Learned
Matzah that has been scalded or formed into a large ceremonial cake does not fulfill the requirement of "bread of affliction."
