You shall not eat leaven with it; seven days you shall eat with it matzos, the bread of affliction, for in haste you went out of the land of Egypt, in order that you may remember the day of your going out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life.
English: "In order that you may remember" — Rav Acha bar Yaakov said: One must mention the Exodus from Egypt in the Kiddush of the day. What is the reason? It is written here "in order that you may remember the day of your going out" and it is written there "remember the Sabbath day to sanctify it."
