רַק אִם־שָׁמוֹעַ תִּשְׁמַע בְּקוֹל יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ לִשְׁמֹר לַעֲשׂוֹת אֶת־כָּל־הַמִּצְוָה הַזֹּאת אֲשֶׁר אָנֹכִי מְצַוְּךָ הַיּוֹם׃
Only if you diligently hearken to the voice of Hashem your God, to observe to do all this commandment that I command you this day.

רַק אִם שָׁמוֹעַ תִּשְׁמַע — עַל מְנָת שֶׁתִּשְׁמַע; הַבְּרָכָה תְּלוּיָה בַּשְּׁמִיעָה.
English: “Only if you diligently hearken” — on condition that you hearken; the blessing is dependent upon the listening.
