עַשֵּׂ֣ר תְּעַשֵּׂ֔ר אֵ֖ת כׇּל־תְּבוּאַ֣ת זַרְעֶ֑ךָ הַיֹּצֵ֥א הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה שָׁנָ֥ה שָׁנָֽה׃

You shall surely tithe all the produce of your seed that comes forth from the field year by year.

עַשֵּׂר תְּעַשֵּׂר – אָמַר רַבִּי יוֹחָנָן, מַאי דִּכְתִיב עַשֵּׂר תְּעַשֵּׂר – עַשֵּׂר בִּשְׁבִיל שֶׁתִּתְעַשֵּׁר.

English: “You shall surely tithe” — Rabbi Yochanan said: What is the meaning of “asser te’asser”? Tithe in order that you may become rich.

On the daf / in context: The doubled language is read as a promise that faithful tithing brings material blessing; this is one of the few mitzvos in which testing Hashem is permitted.
