לֹ֣א תֹאכְל֣וּ כָל־נְבֵלָ֠ה לַגֵּ֨ר אֲשֶׁר־בִּשְׁעָרֶ֜יךָ תִּתְּנֶ֣נָּה וַאֲכָלָ֗הּ א֤וֹ מָכֹר֙ לְנָכְרִ֔י כִּ֣י עַ֤ם קָדוֹשׁ֙ אַתָּ֔ה לַיהֹוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ לֹֽא־תְבַשֵּׁ֥ל גְּדִ֖י בַּחֲלֵ֥ב אִמּֽוֹ׃

You shall not eat any carcass; give it to the stranger within your gates, that he may eat it, or sell it to a foreigner; for you are a holy people to Hashem your God. You shall not boil a kid in its mother’s milk.

לֹא תֹאכְלוּ כָל נְבֵלָה — אַזְהָרָה לְאוֹכֵל נְבֵלוֹת; כָּל נְבֵלָה לְרַבּוֹת אֶת הַטְּרֵפָה.

English: “You shall not eat any carcass” — this is the prohibition against eating neveilah; “any carcass” includes terefah as well.
