וְלֹֽא־יִדְבַּ֧ק בְּיָדְךָ֛ מְא֖וּמָה מִן־הַחֵ֑רֶם לְמַעַן֩ יָשׁ֨וּב יְהֹוָ֜ה מֵחֲר֣וֹן אַפּ֗וֹ וְנָֽתַן־לְךָ֤ רַחֲמִים֙ וְרִֽחַמְךָ֣ וְהִרְבֶּ֔ךָ כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר נִשְׁבַּ֖ע לַאֲבֹתֶֽיךָ׃

And nothing of the devoted thing shall cling to your hand, so that Hashem may turn from His burning anger and grant you mercy and have compassion on you and multiply you, as He swore to your fathers.

וְלֹא יִדְבַּק וגו׳ – שֶׁכָּל זְמַן שֶׁהָרְשָׁעִים בָּעוֹלָם חָרוֹן אַף בָּעוֹלָם, אָבְדוּ רְשָׁעִים מִן הָעוֹלָם נִסְתַּלֵּק חָרוֹן אַף מִן הָעוֹלָם.

English: “And nothing… shall cling” — For as long as the wicked are in the world, burning anger is in the world; when the wicked perish from the world, burning anger departs from the world.
