וּשְׂמַחְתֶּ֗ם לִפְנֵי֮ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶם֒ אַתֶּ֨ם וּבְנֵיכֶ֤ם וּבְנֹֽתֵיכֶם֙ וְעַבְדֵיכֶ֣ם וְאַמְהֹֽתֵיכֶ֔ם וְהַלֵּוִי֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּשַֽׁעֲרֵיכֶ֔ם כִּ֣י אֵ֥ין ל֛וֹ חֵ֥לֶק וְנַחֲלָ֖ה אִתְּכֶֽם׃

And you shall rejoice before Hashem your God — you and your sons and your daughters and your manservants and your maidservants and the Levite who is within your gates, for he has no portion or inheritance with you.

וְהַלֵּוִי אֲשֶׁר בְּשַׁעֲרֵיכֶם – תַּנְיָא, כָּל מָקוֹם שֶׁאַתָּה מוֹצֵא אֶת הַלֵּוִי הַזֶּה לוֹמֵד, תֵּן לוֹ חֶלְקוֹ.

English: “And the Levite who is within your gates” — It was taught: Wherever you find this Levite studying, give him his portion.
