TT lemma: למען ירבו ימיכם (unit 1 of 9).
English: “So that your days may be multiplied.” It is written: “All the days of the elders who prolonged their days after Joshua.” Rabbi Yoḥanan said: They prolonged their days, but not their years. Shall we then say that “so that your days may be multiplied” likewise means days but not years? A blessing is different.
