אִישׁ֩ כִּֽי־יִדֹּ֨ר נֶ֜דֶר לַֽיהֹוָ֗ה אֽוֹ־הִשָּׁ֤בַע שְׁבֻעָה֙ לֶאְסֹ֤ר אִסָּר֙ עַל־נַפְשׁ֔וֹ לֹ֥א יַחֵ֖ל דְּבָר֑וֹ כְּכׇל־הַיֹּצֵ֥א מִפִּ֖יו יַעֲשֶֽׂה׃

לֹא יַחֵל דְּבָרוֹ. אָמַר רַב גִּידֵּל אָמַר רַב: מִנַּיִן שֶׁאֵין נִשְׁבָּעִין לַעֲבוֹר עַל הַמִּצְוֹת — תַּלְמוּד לוֹמַר לֹא יַחֵל דְּבָרוֹ, דְּבָרוֹ לֹא יַחֵל אֲבָל מֵחַל הוּא לְחֶפְצֵי שָׁמַיִם. (נְדָרִים)
