English: Our Rabbis taught: the tamid precedes the Pesach. Why? A matter of which “in the evening” and “between the evenings” are said is deferred after a matter of which only “between the evenings” is said.

Type of Learning

Order of afternoon offerings on Erev Pesach.

What Is Learned

The daily afternoon lamb is slaughtered before the Pesach.
