וְהַעֲמַדְתָּ אֹתוֹ לִפְנֵי אֶלְעָזָר הַכֹּהֵן וְלִפְנֵי כָּל־הָעֵדָה וְצִוִּיתָה אֹתוֹ לְעֵינֵיהֶם׃
Have him stand before Elazar the Kohen and before the whole assembly, and charge him in their sight.

וְלִפְנֵי אֶלְעָזָר הַכֹּהֵן יַעֲמֹד – שֶׁהָיָה יְהוֹשֻׁעַ צָרִיךְ לְאֶלְעָזָר, וְאֶלְעָזָר לִיהוֹשֻׁעַ.
English: “And before Elazar the Kohen shall he stand” — for Yehoshua needed Elazar, and Elazar needed Yehoshua.
