אִבַּעְיָא לְהוּ, אֶרֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵל לִשְׁבָטִים אִיפְּלוּג אוֹ לְקַרְקַף גַּבְרֵי אִיפְּלוּג, תָּא שְׁמַע, דִּכְתִיב בֵּין רַב לִמְעָט.
English: They inquired: was the Land of Yisrael divided by tribes or by individual headcount? Come and hear, as it is written “between many and few.”
