English: Our Rabbis taught: when Achan trespassed and Yehoshua cast lots and the lot fell on Achan, Achan said to Yehoshua, “By lot you come against me…” Yehoshua said, “I ask of you, do not cast aspersions on the lots, for the Land of Yisrael is destined to be divided by lot.”
