אַ֣ךְ בְּֽכוֹר־שׁ֡וֹר אֽוֹ־בְכ֨וֹר כֶּ֜שֶׂב אֽוֹ־בְכ֥וֹר עֵ֛ז לֹ֥א תִפְדֶּ֖ה קֹ֣דֶשׁ הֵ֑ם אֶת־דָּמָ֞ם תִּזְרֹ֤ק עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ וְאֶת־חֶלְבָּ֣ם תַּקְטִ֔יר אִשֶּׁ֛ה לְרֵ֥יחַ נִיחֹ֖חַ לַיהֹוָֽה׃

אֶת דָּמָם תִּזְרֹק… וְדַם זְבָחֶיךָ יִשָּׁפֵךְ — אִם שְׁפִיכָה לָמָּה זְרִיקָה וְאִם זְרִיקָה לָמָּה שְׁפִיכָה.
English: “You shall dash their blood”… and “the blood of your offerings shall be poured” — if pouring, why dashing, and if dashing, why pouring?
