Core Text

English: “Every pure person in your house shall eat it” — a bas Yisrael betrothed to a kohen may not eat terumah; why? because she is not yet in his house.

Type of Learning

Terumah only after chuppah / being in the house.

What Is Learned

Until she enters the husband’s house (chuppah), she is not “in your house” for terumah.
