The Complete Passuk

וְאִם־נֶ֥פֶשׁ אַחַ֖ת תֶּחֱטָ֣א בִשְׁגָגָ֑ה וְהִקְרִ֛יבָה עֵ֥ז בַּת־שְׁנָתָ֖הּ לְחַטָּֽאת׃

And if one person sins in error, he shall bring a she-goat in its first year for a chatas.

Torah Temimah: the individual case is a she-goat of the first year.

וְאִם נֶפֶשׁ אַחַת תֶּחֱטָא בִשְׁגָגָה וְהִקְרִיבָה עֵז בַּת שְׁנָתָהּ לְחַטָּאת.

A single person who errs brings a yearling she-goat, not the bull-and-goat of the congregation.
