וְנִסְלַ֗ח לְכׇל־עֲדַת֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְלַגֵּ֖ר הַגָּ֣ר בְּתוֹכָ֑ם כִּ֥י לְכׇל־הָעָ֖ם בִּשְׁגָגָֽה׃

And it shall be forgiven the whole congregation… and the stranger who sojourns among them…

Torah Temimah: the convert shares in the communal forgiveness.

Core Text

וְנִסְלַח לְכׇל עֲדַת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְלַגֵּר הַגָּר בְּתוֹכָם.

English: And it shall be forgiven the whole congregation of the children of Israel, and the stranger who sojourns among them.

Convert included in communal kapparah.

The same communal atonement covers the resident convert together with the native congregation.
