Torah Temimah (citing Abaye / Shabbos and related): “וביום הקים את המשכן” teaches that the building of the Mikdash is not done at night.
English: “And on the day of erecting the Mishkan” — by day they erect it, at night they do not erect it.
Daytime construction — the verse’s “on the day” limits the work of raising the sanctuary to daylight.
The erection of the sacred structure is itself a daytime act; dismantling for travel is treated differently.
