לֹֽא־יַשְׁאִ֤ירוּ מִמֶּ֙נּוּ֙ עַד־בֹּ֔קֶר וְעֶ֖צֶם לֹ֣א יִשְׁבְּרוּ־ב֑וֹ כְּכׇל־חֻקַּ֥ת הַפֶּ֖סַח יַעֲשׂ֥וּ אֹתֽוֹ׃

Torah Temimah: “לא ישאירו ממנו עד בקר” — the leftover prohibition applies to Pesach Sheni as to the first.

Core Text

לֹֽא־יַשְׁאִ֤ירוּ מִמֶּ֙נּוּ֙ עַד־בֹּ֔קֶר — כָּרִאשׁוֹן.

English: “They shall not leave any of it until morning” — as with the first.

Shared negative commandments — the second offering inherits the core prohibitions of the first.

What may not remain overnight on the fourteenth of Nisan may not remain overnight on the fourteenth of Iyar.
