English: “And these are the generations of Aharon and Moshe” — R’ Shmuel bar Nachmani said in the name of R’ Yonasan: Whoever teaches the son of his fellow Torah, Scripture regards him as if he had begotten him.
In context: Only Aharon’s sons are listed, yet the verse names both Aharon and Moshe; the midrash resolves this by equating the teacher with the biological parent.
