אָז֩ תִּרְצֶ֨ה הָאָ֜רֶץ אֶת־שַׁבְּתֹתֶ֗יהָ כֹּ֚ל יְמֵ֣י הֳשַׁמָּ֔ה וְאַתֶּ֖ם בְּאֶ֣רֶץ אֹיְבֵיכֶ֑ם אָ֚ז תִּשְׁבַּ֣ת הָאָ֔רֶץ וְהִרְצָ֖ת אֶת־שַׁבְּתֹתֶֽיהָ׃

תַּנְיָא: בַּעֲוֹן הַשְׁמָטַת שְׁמִטִּין וְיוֹבְלוֹת גָּלוּת בָּאָה לָעוֹלָם… שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר “אָז תִּרְצֶה הָאָרֶץ אֶת שַׁבְּתֹתֶיהָ… וְאַתֶּם בְּאֶרֶץ אֹיְבֵיכֶם.”
English: For the sin of neglecting the shemittah and yovel years, exile comes — they are driven out and others dwell in their place.
