וְאִ֗ישׁ כִּֽי־יִמְכֹּ֤ר בֵּית־מוֹשַׁב֙ עִ֣יר חוֹמָ֔ה וְהָיְתָה֙ גְּאֻלָּת֔וֹ עַד־תֹּ֖ם שְׁנַ֣ת מִמְכָּר֑וֹ יָמִ֖ים תִּהְיֶ֥ה גְאֻלָּתֽוֹ׃

יָמִים תִּהְיֶה גְאֻלָּתוֹ. יָמִים וְלֹא לֵילוֹת; מִכָּאן שֶׁאֵין גּוֹאֲלִין בַּלַּיְלָה.
English: “Days shall be its redemption.” Days and not nights; from here [we learn] that one does not redeem at night.
