וְחִשַּׁב֙ אֶת־שְׁנֵ֣י מִמְכָּר֔וֹ וְהֵשִׁיב֙ אֶת־הָ֣עֹדֵ֔ף לָאִ֖ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֣ר מָֽכַר־ל֑וֹ וְשָׁ֖ב לַאֲחֻזָּתֽוֹ׃

וְחִשַּׁב אֶת שְׁנֵי מִמְכָּרוֹ. מְלַמֵּד שֶׁמְּחַשְּׁבִין אֶת הַשָּׁנִים.

English: “And he shall calculate the years of its sale.” This teaches that one calculates the years.
