כִּֽי־יָמ֣וּךְ אָחִ֔יךָ וּמָכַ֖ר מֵאֲחֻזָּת֑וֹ וּבָ֤א גֹֽאֲלוֹ֙ הַקָּרֹ֣ב אֵלָ֔יו וְגָאַ֕ל אֵ֖ת מִמְכַּ֥ר אָחִֽיו׃

וּבָא גֹאֲלוֹ הַקָּרֹב אֵלָיו. מִכָּאן שֶׁהַקָּרוֹב קוֹדֵם.

English: “And his redeemer who is closest to him shall come.” From here [we learn] that the closer relative takes precedence.
