וְלִ֨בְהֶמְתְּךָ֔ וְלַֽחַיָּ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּאַרְצֶ֑ךָ תִּהְיֶ֥ה כׇל־תְּבוּאָתָ֖הּ לֶאֱכֹֽל׃

Torah Temimah cites Yerushalmi Sheviis 7:1.

Core Text — Yerushalmi Sheviis 7:1

תִּהְיֶה כָל תְּבוּאָתָהּ. תִּהְיֶה — אַף לְהַדְלָקַת הַנֵּר וּלְצַבֵּעַ בָּהּ צֶבַע.

English: “All its produce shall be.” “Tihyeh” — even for lighting a lamp and for dyeing with it.

The word “tihyeh” permits using Shemittah produce for lighting a lamp and for dyeing.
