English: “And for your cattle and for the wild animal.” As long as the wild animal is eating from the field, feed your cattle in the house; when it is finished for the wild animal from the field, finish it for your cattle from the house.
Classical derasha (Bavli Pesachim) — bi’ur timing.
As long as wild animals can still eat from the field, one may feed one’s domestic animals stored Shemittah produce at home; when the field is finished, the house store must also be finished (bi’ur).
