מֵעֶרֶב עַד עֶרֶב. כִּי סְלֵיק רַבִּי זֵירָא אָמַר, קִדּוּשׁ הַחֹדֶשׁ צָרִיךְ שֶׁיִּהְיֶה בּוֹ לַיְלָה וְיוֹם מִן הַחֹדֶשׁ, מְנָלַן, אָמַר רַבִּי יוֹחָנָן, דִּכְתִיב מֵעֶרֶב עַד עֶרֶב. (רֹאשׁ הַשָּׁנָה כ׳ ב׳)
