דַּבֵּ֛ר אֶל־בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר בַּחֹ֨דֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִ֜י בְּאֶחָ֣ד לַחֹ֗דֶשׁ יִהְיֶ֤ה לָכֶם֙ שַׁבָּת֔וֹן זִכְר֥וֹן תְּרוּעָ֖ה מִקְרָא־קֹֽדֶשׁ׃

זִכְרוֹן תְּרוּעָה. תָּנוּ רַבָּנַן, מִנַּיִן שֶׁאוֹמְרִים זִכְרוֹנוֹת וְשׁוֹפָרוֹת, אָמַר רַבִּי עֲקִיבָא, דִּכְתִיב זִכְרוֹן תְּרוּעָה, זִכְרוֹן אֵלּוּ זִכְרוֹנוֹת, תְּרוּעָה אֵלּוּ שׁוֹפָרוֹת. (רֹאשׁ הַשָּׁנָה ל״ב א׳)
