דַּבֵּר֙ אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְאָמַרְתָּ֖ אֲלֵהֶ֑ם כִּֽי־תָבֹ֣אוּ אֶל־הָאָ֗רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֤ר אֲנִי֙ נֹתֵ֣ן לָכֶ֔ם וּקְצַרְתֶּ֖ם אֶת־קְצִירָ֑הּ וַהֲבֵאתֶ֥ם אֶת־עֹ֛מֶר רֵאשִׁ֥ית קְצִירְכֶ֖ם אֶל־הַכֹּהֵֽן׃

רֵאשִׁית קְצִירְכֶם. תַּנְיָא, הַחִטִּים וְהַשְּׂעוֹרִים וְהַכֻּסְּמִין וְשִׁבֹּלֶת שׁוּעָל וְהַשִּׁיפוֹן אֲסוּרִים מִלִּקְצֹר לִפְנֵי הָעֹמֶר, מְנָא הָנֵי מִילֵּי, אָמַר רַבִּי יוֹחָנָן, אָתְיָא רֵאשִׁית רֵאשִׁית מֵחַלָּה. (מְנָחוֹת ע׳ ב׳)
