וּמִיַּ֣ד בֶּן־נֵכָ֗ר לֹ֥א תַקְרִ֛יבוּ אֶת־לֶ֥חֶם אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֖ם מִכָּל־אֵ֑לֶּה כִּ֣י מָשְׁחָתָ֤ם בָּהֶם֙ מ֣וּם בָּ֔ם לֹ֥א יֵרָצ֖וּ לָכֶֽם׃

מוּם בָּם. כְּשֶׁמּוּם בָּם הוּא דְּלֹא יֵרָצוּ, הָא עָבַר הַמּוּם – יֵרָצוּ. (יוֹמָא ס״ד א׳)

While the mum is present they are not accepted; if the mum passes, they may be accepted (basis that living animals are not permanently rejected).
