וְהִשִּׂיאוּ אוֹתָם עֲוֹן אַשְׁמָה. תָּנָא דְּבֵי רַבִּי אֶלְעָזָר בֶּן יַעֲקֹב, כׇּל הַנּוֹתֵן תְּרוּמָה לְכֹהֵן עַם הָאָרֶץ מַשִּׂיאוֹ עֲוֹן אַשְׁמָה, שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר וְהִשִּׂיאוּ אוֹתָם עֲוֹן אַשְׁמָה בְּאָכְלָם אֶת קָדְשֵׁיהֶם. (סַנְהֶדְרִין צ׳ ב׳)
