כְּמַעֲשֵׂ֧ה אֶֽרֶץ־מִצְרַ֛יִם אֲשֶׁ֥ר יְשַׁבְתֶּם־בָּ֖הּ לֹ֣א תַעֲשׂ֑וּ וּכְמַעֲשֵׂ֣ה אֶֽרֶץ־כְּנַ֡עַן אֲשֶׁ֣ר אֲנִי֩ מֵבִ֨יא אֶתְכֶ֥ם שָׁ֙מָּה֙ לֹ֣א תַעֲשׂ֔וּ וּבְחֻקֹּתֵיהֶ֖ם לֹ֥א תֵלֵֽכוּ׃

הרוצה לנקר חצירו עושה מקום חוץ לגומא ושוחט ודם שותת ויורד לגומא; ובשוק לא יעשה כן משום ובחקותיהם לא תלכו.
English: One may arrange a private courtyard slaughter so blood drains into a pit; in the marketplace one may not, because of “in their statutes you shall not walk.”
