English: “And one from whom [shichvas zera] goes out” — and above it is written “This is the Torah of the zav”: it is equated to a zav — just as a flux interrupts [the seven clean days] for a zav, so shichvas zera interrupts for a zav.
Seed emission interrupts the count
Chazal teach that emission of seed during a zav’s seven clean days resets the count, just as a new flux would.
