שָׁכֹב יִשְׁכַּב אִישׁ — אִישׁ פְּרָט לְקָטָן; יָכוֹל שֶׁאֲנִי מוֹצִיא בֶּן תֵּשַׁע שָׁנִים וְיוֹם אֶחָד? תַּלְמוּד לוֹמַר שָׁכֹב יִשְׁכַּב.
English: “A man indeed lies” — “man” excludes a minor; one might think I exclude a nine-year-and-one-day-old; Scripture teaches “indeed lies.”
