כִּי תִהְיֶה זָבָה — יָכוֹל אֲפִלּוּ זָבָה מִכָּל מָקוֹם? תַּלְמוּד לוֹמַר וְהִיא גִּלְּתָה אֶת מְקוֹר דָּמֶיהָ — לִמֵּד עַל הַדָּמִים שֶׁאֵינָם מְטַמְּאִים אֶלָּא מִן הַמָּקוֹר.
English: “When she is a zavah” — one might think even from any place; Scripture teaches “and she has uncovered the source of her blood” — blood conveys impurity only from the source.
