וּבַיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁמִינִ֗י יִקַּח־לוֹ֙ שְׁתֵּ֣י תֹרִ֔ים א֥וֹ שְׁנֵ֖י בְּנֵ֣י יוֹנָ֑ה וּבָ֣א ׀ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֗ה אֶל־פֶּ֙תַח֙ אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד וּנְתָנָ֖ם אֶל־הַכֹּהֵֽן׃

יִקַּח לוֹ — לוֹ לְעַצְמוֹ: שֶׁאִם הִפְרִישׁ לְזִיבָתוֹ הָרִאשׁוֹנָה לֹא יְבִיאֵם לְזִיבָתוֹ הַשְּׁנִיָּה.
English: “He shall take for himself” — for himself: if he set aside [birds] for his first zivah, he may not bring them for his second zivah.
