Torah Temima points to Toras Kohanim.
English: “He shall scrape the house all around” — one might think both inside and outside; therefore it says “from the house.” If [only] “from the house,” one might think the floor and the walls; therefore it says “all around” — I have spoken only of [scraping] around the negaim.
Scope of the scraping
Chazal limit the scraping to the interior surfaces surrounding the affected areas, not the exterior or the entire floor.
