וְרָאָ֣ה אֶת־הַנֶּ֗גַע וְהִנֵּ֤ה הַנֶּ֙גַע֙ בְּקִירֹ֣ת הַבַּ֔יִת שְׁקַֽעֲרוּרֹת֙ יְרַקְרַקֹּ֔ת א֖וֹ אֲדַמְדַּמֹּ֑ת וּמַרְאֵיהֶ֥ן שָׁפָ֖ל מִן־הַקִּֽיר׃

וְהִנֵּה הַנֶּגַע — מְלַמֵּד שֶׁאֵין נֶגַע הַבַּיִת מְטַמֵּא אֶלָּא בִּשְׁנֵי גְּרִיסִין.
English: “And behold the nega” — this teaches that a house-nega conveys tumah only when it is the size of two gerisin.
