The Complete Passuk

וְעָשָׂ֤ה הַכֹּהֵן֙ אֶת־הַ֣חַטָּ֔את וְכִפֶּ֕ר עַל־הַמִּטַּהֵ֖ר מִטֻּמְאָת֑וֹ וְאַחַ֖ר יִשְׁחַ֥ט אֶת־הָעֹלָֽה׃

Torah Temima points to Toras Kohanim.

מִטֻּמְאָתוֹ — מִטֻּמְאָתוֹ וְלֹא מִזּוֹבוֹ.

English: “From his impurity” — from his impurity, and not from his zav status.

Mi’ut

Chazal limit the atonement of this chatas to the impurity of tzaraas; it does not cover the impurity of a zav.
