וְטָבַ֤ל הַכֹּהֵן֙ אֶת־אֶצְבָּע֣וֹ הַיְמָנִ֔ית מִן־הַשֶּׁ֕מֶן אֲשֶׁ֥ר עַל־כַּפּ֖וֹ הַשְּׂמָאלִ֑ית וְהִזָּ֨ה מִן־הַשֶּׁ֧מֶן בְּאֶצְבָּע֛וֹ שֶׁ֥בַע פְּעָמִ֖ים לִפְנֵ֥י יְהֹוָֽה׃

לִפְנֵי יְהֹוָה — מְלַמֵּד שֶׁהוּא טוֹבֵל וּמַזֶּה שֶׁבַע פְּעָמִים כְּנֶגֶד בֵּית קֹדֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁים וְעַל כָּל הַזָּיָה טְבִילָה.
English: “Before Hashem” — this teaches that he dips and sprinkles seven times opposite the Holy of Holies, and that each sprinkling requires a [fresh] dipping.
