Core Text

Core Text

English: White spots ... dim white spots on the skin: it is bohak, a pigmentation condition that has appeared in the skin; the person is clean.

What Is Learned

The next verse distinguishes dim white spots from the bright shades that define the relevant tzara’at signs. The text therefore does not treat every visible white spot as an impure lesion.
