English: Rabbi Neḥemya says: Great is circumcision, for it overrides the laws of skin afflictions.
The Gemara teaches that the mitzvah of circumcision can take precedence over the prohibition against cutting a nega. This is a direct halakhic connection between the laws of circumcision and the laws of nega’im.
