Chabad.org — Vayikra Chapter 10 with Rashi
Rashi on Vayikra 10:3:1, with the underlying derashah from Sifra (Toras Kohanim) and Vayikra Rabbah 12:2. The Hebrew text below follows the vowelized Hebrew presented in Sefaria's Rashi text.
Sefaria — Sifra (Toras Kohanim), Shemini
English: “He is the One of whom Hashem spoke.” The derashah reads “בִּכְבֹדִי” as “בִּמְכֻבָּדַי”: the Mishkan would be sanctified through those especially honored by Hashem. Moshe says he had thought that this would involve either himself or Aharon, but now sees that Nadav and Avihu were greater.
Al Tikra — the Chazal derives the teaching from the wording or structure of the verse.
Moshe explains that the Mishkan is sanctified through those especially close to Hashem; the death of Nadav and Avihu revealed the meaning of “בִּכְבֹדִי” through the derashah “בִּמְכֻבָּדַי.”
