וְשִׁסַּ֨ע אֹת֣וֹ בְכְנָפָיו֮ לֹ֣א יַבְדִּיל֒ וְהִקְטִ֨יר אֹת֤וֹ הַכֹּהֵן֙ הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חָה עַל־הָעֵצִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר עַל־הָאֵ֑שׁ עֹלָ֣ה הִ֔וא אִשֵּׁ֥ה רֵֽיחַ־נִיחֹ֖חַ לַיהֹוָֽה׃

לֹא יַבְדִּיל — יָכוֹל אִם הִבְדִּיל פָּסוּל? תַּלְמוּד לוֹמַר וְהִקְטִיר.
English: “He shall not sever” — might one think that if he did sever, it is invalid? The Torah states “and he shall cause it to smoke” [even then it is offered].
