English: In all your settlements you may not kindle, but you may kindle the limbs and fats of offerings on the altar.
Derash from the limitation “in all your settlements”: the prohibition applies in ordinary dwellings, while the altar service continues.
Burning the limbs and fats of offerings on the altar is permitted on Shabbos; the verse’s “all your settlements” excludes that sacred service.
