The meaning of let the Lord, I pray Thee, go in the midst of us is, when we journey, 145 The meaning of let the Lord, I pray Thee, go in the midst of us is, let the Lord, I pray Thee, go in the midst of us in all of our journeys; i.e., may God always be with us. as in And I will walk among you (Lev. 26:12). 146 According to I.E. the meaning of And I will walk among you is, I will be with you even when you are in exile.
