The word paru’a (broken loose) is similar to yippare’a (cast off restraint) in Where there is no vision, the people cast off restraint (Prov. 28:18), and va-tifre’u (ye have set at nought) in But ye have set at nought all my counsel (Prov. 1:25). [FOR A DERISION.] Scripture employs an adjective ( le-shimtzah ) in place of an infinitive. 118 In place of the infinitive le-hashmitz .
