ויאמר אל יחר אף אדני. בעבור גודל מעלתו : וכבר פירשתי כי ברע הוא. וככה ויאמרו לי (פ' כג) ואומר אליהם (פ' כד) :

English: AND AARON SAID: LET NOT THE ANGER OF MY LORD WAX HOT. Aharon called Moshe my lord because of Moshe’ great station. [THAT THEY ARE SET ON EVIL.] I have already explained the meaning of that they are set on evil . 115 According to I.E. the reference is to the mixed multitude. See I.E.’s comment on Ex. 31:18. Similarly, So they said unto me (v. 23) 116 The reference is to the mixed multitude. and, And I said unto them (v. 24). 117 The reference is to the mixed multitude.
