עַל־בְּשַׂר אָדָם לֹא יִיסָךְ וּבְמַתְכֻּנְתּוֹ לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ כָּמֹהוּ קֹדֶשׁ הוּא קֹדֶשׁ יִהְיֶה לָכֶם׃

Core Text — Kerisus 7a

קֹדֶשׁ יִהְיֶה לָכֶם — לְרַבּוֹת שֶׁמֶן הַמִּשְׁחָה שֶׁל דּוֹרוֹת.

English: “It shall be holy to you” — to include the anointing oil of [later] generations.

Derash extending the sanctity of the oil to future generations.

The holiness and restrictions of the anointing oil apply not only to Moshe’s original batch but to generational anointing oil as well.
